Geisha Lounge is a casino with a varied history – they first emerged as a Microgaming casino several years ago before making the switch to Aqua Online software. Now both they and their sister casino Grand Aces are powered by Real Time Gaming.

The casino is themed around the Japanese custom of Geisha, although I must admit the background in the software reminded me more of a train station waiting room than a Geisha Lounge! They offer welcome bonuses on your first three purchases with them although beware video poker is excluded from the wagering requirements as is Blackjack and Tricard Poker. There is also a comp point program and Player of the Month and Best New Player awards are being unveiled soon.

As with most RTGs the game upgrades can take an eternity to download – RTG really need to take a leaf from Playtechs book and offer background game downloads. The Real Series slots took between 5 and 15 minutes to download, and I am on a very fast connection. RTG really need to address the problem of these slow downloads, and perhaps include one or two of the slots in the software download. Nothing is more unfuriating when you are looking forward to playing than waiting around for these upgrades. However once upgraded the software ran quickly and there were none of the lags or delays associated with some lesser bandwidth casinos.

In general Geisha Lounge is a pretty average RTG casino. Their games are fair, they pay promptly and are reasonably transparent in their terms and conditions. In order to make the leap to outstanding casino there are a few things they need to address – one of which is the fact that the Live Chat button on their site freezes and doesn't work. There are also a few too many coming soons on the site. However if you are looking for a reasonable RTG then Geisha Lounge is worth a try.
