Finally a Poker Room with a little attitude - the Avatars talk. However basic, it's a refreshing change to here a player cop a "pokertude" by saying "fold". It's not so much about being able to say a few choice words, but rather the mannerism to which they speak. One player when saying "I'm all in" almost giving off a tell as if he's not convinced his is strong enough warranting an all in bet.

CDPoker is owned and operated by Crown Solution Gaming Ltd., operating under a license granted by the government of Antigua, regulated by state laws, under the supervision of the Directorate of Offshore Gaming.

The Poker software is developed and maintained by PlayTech Cyprus, a leading online gaming software company, gaining special experience from the Brick and Mortar casino world.

CDPoker participates in a shared poker room network meaning players you are playing against aren't necessarily account holding members of CDPoker but are members of a poker room using the PlayTech Cyprus poker software.

The Con's of CDPoker:

We don't like the fact that your starting chip stack is only $1000, but the blinds are lower as well at 5/10, with blinds going up every 10 minutes, giving you a 10 minute window allowing you to get to the average of 1500 in chips when the blinds get to 10/20 where most of the poker rooms start you at.

However petty, when playing online we still like to experience the ambience of live play and we would rather see the flop come one at a time. At CDPoker, they just appear at the same time.

The re-buy tournaments - and please, if we are wrong, let us know. We have not been able to find the re-buy button. It does automatically appear when your balance is 0, whereas alot of rooms allow rebuys when your balance dips below your starting stack.

The Pro's of CDPoker:

The tournament detail window is indeed detailed, from participating tables, individual players and most importantly, the payout structure.

The table arena is easy to bet, raise or fold, with a large oval 10 player table. You have instant access to hand history and your own personal gaming stats.

We also like how the pocket cards are dealt, one at a time and in sequence, unlike some of the other poker rooms where everyone's cards just appear at the same time and you don't get a sense of them being dealt.

This is very important to us; their live chat is an asset with extremely pleasant operators waiting to assist you with any question or concerns you may have.

CDPoker has a wide variety of deposit methods allowing ease of depositing.

A very attractive deposit bonus of 50% up to $200 which is released once you have earned a specific point amount. Some rooms release your bonus right away and you can't cash in your winnings until you have raked a certain number of hands. At CDPoker, you can cash in your winnings at any time, and once your bonus is released, you can rest assured that you have met all of their requirements. They also have a 50% reload deposit bonus where conditions also apply.
